For all of you who gave me a for my space stuff, This is for you. Sorry for Boring you with all those Abstracts. But without them, i wouldnt have been able to make this.
the Ground is an Apophysis Render imported into Terragen. Everything else is photoshop.
Over 6 hours to make, and over 200 layers.
3 renders, 2 planets, 2 fractals, 1 set of rings, 37 stars, 1 random starfield, 3 seperate programs, and a whole lot of work.
But it's worth it in my opinion.
I see this as my best piece yet. You decide for yourself.
Resubmitted... Made some changes to the starfield, and removed the larger Sun. I think it looks better this way.

I like the space scene here, the fractal nebulae have a really great look (and the colouration is fantastic), the planets are nicely arranged also, and the rings are quite unique. On top of this, the stars are nicely varied in size to bring out depth.
However, the terrain ruins it for me, it doesn't seem to fit in and aesthetically its less appealing than the space scene, I suppose it could work if it looked as great as the space scene.
Overall a nice piece though, I really like the whole scene and the space art.
